Magic Level is one of the skills that determines the power of your spells and runes.
A higher Magic Level increases the damage or healing produced by your spells and runes. It does not affect the damage of Rods or Wands.
Increasing Magic Level
Your Magic Level increases as you cast spells and consume mana. However, when using Magic Shield or an Energy Ring, damage converted into mana loss does not contribute to Magic Level advancement.
Since the Winter Update 2008, certain pieces of Equipment can permanently increase Magic Level. There are also temporary boosts available, such as:
- Mastermind Potion
- Tropical Fried Terrorbird
- Specific Equipment that grants a Magic Level bonus while worn.
Vocational Progression
Different vocations gain Magic Levels at different rates:
- Knights advance the slowest.
- Monks and Paladins advance at a moderate rate.
- Druids and Sorcerers advance the fastest.
This means Druids and Sorcerers require less mana to reach a given Magic Level than Monks, Paladins, or Knights.
The first player in Tibia to reach Magic Level 100 was Averthith Solifitrotus.
Training Tips
- Aim for the 6th daily reward bonus to double mana regeneration while in a Protection Zone — currently the fastest way to regain mana.
- Always carry and eat food to maintain natural mana regeneration.
- Use mana potions frequently during hunts to keep casting consistently.
- Utilize Offline Training to continue improving Magic Level while logged out.
