Notes:
This infobox is used on pages of Objects, which are almost everything you see in the Game Window. It is used by more than 8000 pages, so changes here must be carefully thought of and tested before being implemented. Bigger changes can be tested on Template:Infobox Object/Draft.
For an extended documentation of the parameters of this template, please check Template:Infobox Object/Documentation/Extended.

| Parameter | Required | Usage |
|---|---|---|
name |
✓ | The name of the object on TibiaWiki, which should be in most cases the same name of the page. If a page has disambiguation brackets, such as Giant Shimmering Pearl (Brown), this parameter should be the same. This parameter is used to retrieve the corresponding image gif file, and it's also very important in DPL tables. This name should always use initial capitals using the same rules as the ones for page names. |
article |
✗ | The article used for countable singular objects. It should only be one of 'a', 'an' or empty. The article 'the' should not be used, since when it exists it is actually part of the name. This parameter is used to properly build the look message. |
actualname |
✗ | The name of the object as it appears in game when looked at. Most object names are all lower-case, however, some have upper-case initials when a proper name is mentioned, such as Vessel of Ferumbras (vessel of Ferumbras). Although this parameter is not required and the template will use the name in lower case instead, it's recommended to be added to avoid confusions and mistakes. This parameter is also used to build the look message. |
plural |
✗ | The plural of the actualname parameter. |
itemid |
✓ | The Object ID(s) of the object. The IDs can be found in the dat file, which can only be examined using specific tools. Multiple IDs can be used in one page if and only if all the other object properties are the same. In such cases, IDs should be given in a comma-separated list. For instance, some walls or floor tiles are very similar, having the same name and same other properties, and creating one page for each would be tedious and repetitive, so a single page with all IDs is preferrable. If two tile objects are similar but have different mapcolors, on the other hand, it would be better to have them on different pages so the properties can be correctly displayed. |
objectclass |
✓ | The main "Class" of the object, as per TibiaWiki's Objects grouping. As per the infobox merge project, however, the definition of classes and types are still under review. |
primarytype |
✓ | The main "Type" of the object, as per TibiaWiki's Objects grouping. As per the infobox merge project, however, the definition of classes and types are still under review. |
secondarytype |
✗ | The secondary "Type" of the object, as per TibiaWiki's Objects grouping. As per the infobox merge project, however, the definition of classes and types are still under review. |
tertiarytype |
✗ | The tertiary "Type" of the object, as per TibiaWiki's Objects grouping. As per the infobox merge project, however, the definition of classes and types are still under review. |
cooldown |
✗ | The cooldown before the object can be used again. |
flavortext |
✗ | Also known as 'description', this is the extra text that appears when looking at an object. Line breaks can be added, if necessary, using <br/>, but only if the line break also exists in the original description. |
words |
✗ | If this item is a rune, set to the rune's displayed words (e.g. thunderstorm runes ("adori mas vis")). |
sounds |
✗ | A list of sounds an object can make when interacted with. When at least one sound exists, the Template:Sound should be used, having each sound as a parameter. For example, on Stuffed Dragon:| sounds = {{Sound List|Fchhhhhh!|Zchhhhhh!|Groaaarrr.... *cough*|Aaa... CHOO!|You... will.... burn!!}}Sounds are displayed under the Object's look message. |
implemented |
✓ | The update version in which the object was implemented. This is a required parameter, since obviously all objects were implemented at some version, with some rare exceptions (objects that were/are only seen in Test Servers). Only numbers and dots should be used, i.e. 12.20.8834. |
lightradius |
✗ | If the object gives light, the radius of this light can be put here as an integer number. |
lightcolor |
✗ | If the object gives light, the color value of this light can be given as an integer number. See Template:RGB Light Color for a full list. |
destructible |
✗ | Use "yes" or "no" to indicate of the object is destructible, which means it can be destroyed by e.g. using a Melee weapon. |
immobile |
✓ | Use 'yes' or 'no' to indicate if the Object cannot be moved around in the map. This is one of the most important parameters of the template in terms of object characterization. It should always be given, and can easily be verified in game or the client files. It is important to remember that some objects, such as Store carpets, are immobile, even though they can be transformed into mobile objects when used (in their rolled-up versions). For these cases, separate pages for each version of the carpet are necessary. |
walkable |
✗ | Whether or not an object can be walked over. All pickupable objects can be walked over (even though some have the blockspath property as well, which prevents map-clicking walking over them). |
walkingspeed |
✗ | If it's a tile, the walking speed is how long it takes to cross the tile. Only use when walkable is set to "yes". |
unshootable |
✗ | Use "yes" or "no" to indicate of the object is unshootable, in other words, if it blocks projectiles (distance weapons or runes) to be shot through. |
blockspath |
✗ | Use "yes" or "no" to indicate of the object blocks the path. |
pickupable |
✓ | Use 'yes' or 'no' to indicate if an object can be picked up, i.e., put into a container and carried by characters. Pickupable Objects are popularly simply known as 'items', a distinction that was once the rule in TibiaWiki as well. This is however just a single property, and many properties are shared between non-pickupable and pickupable objects. A pickupable object must also not be immobile, obviously. On the other hand, there are non-pickupable objects which can be moved, such as Furniture. Moreover, some of these movable non-pickupable items are wrappable, which transform them into pickupable Furniture Kits or Decoration Kits. For these reasons, associating this parameter with others must be done with care to avoid wrong assumptions. |
holdsliquid |
✗ | Use "yes" or "no" to indicate of the object can hold liquid, which is mostly true for Liquid Containers. |
usable |
✗ | This simple parameter is used to inform whether or not the object can be "used", or simply interacted with. There are two different types of use interaction, "normal" use in which the action happens on the first click and "use-with" in which the interaction will be between the object and something else (another object, a character, the map, etc). Currently, there's no difference between them in TibiaWiki. |
writable |
✗ | Use "yes" or "no" to indicate of the object can be written on, which is true for some documents. |
rewritable |
✗ | Use "yes" or "no" to indicate of the object can be rewritten once it has been written. |
writechars |
✗ | The amount of characters which can be written in the object. |
wrappable |
✗ | Use "yes" or "no" to indicate if the object can be wrapped into a Furniture Kit or a Decoration Kit. |
levelrequired |
✗ | Minimum level to use the equipment and benefit from all of its perks. Note that some types of equipment can be equipped even if the character doesn't have the required level, however, in that case skill bonus and other properties won't work, the attack will be lowered, etc. If there is no level requirement, the parameter should be omitted. |
vocrequired |
✗ | The object's vocation requirement. Use the text as displayed in-game, i.e. plural vocation names, commas to separate all except the last one which uses the text "and". If the object is used only by players with no vocation, use without. For example:
|
mlrequired |
✗ | The object's magic level requirement. Must be used on all articles about Runes. If the magic level requirement for a rune is 0, set the parameter's value to 0. |
basepower |
✗ | The object's base power. Created to be used on all articles about Runes. |

✗ | Include if the object was the result of enchanting. If included, it must be set to yes. Same status as enchantable. |
range |
✗ | The range of distance weapons, wands and rods. Should be an integer between 1 and 7? and omitted otherwise. |

✗ | Same as manaleech_ch but for Life Leech instead. |
hpleech_am |
✗ | Same as manaleech_am but for Life Leech instead. |
attrib |
✗ | The additional attributes of the object. Include the parameter only if the object uses it. Try to use other parameters first, resorting to attrib if none of them fit. Some examples are:
|
weight |
✗ | The weight of the object. Numbers with 2 decimal places only. Omit if the object cannot be picked up or doesn't have weight. |
