Spender Spells are one of the two classes of attack spells for the Monk, the other being Builder Spells. Spells of the type Builder are weaker, but add Harmony to your bar. In contrast, spells of the type Spender use the built harmony to deliver devastating blows to your target.

Also, whenever a Monk gains or spends Harmony points, the lowest % HP member of the monk's party is healed (this can also be the monk themselves). If the monk is not in a party, they will heal themselves (See Virtue Healing).
