Promotion Scrolls were introduced with the Summer Update 2023 and can be used to imbue the character with additional points to be spent in the Wheel of Destiny. They can be looted from Bakragore through the Rotten Blood Quest, and exist in five different types, each giving increasingly more points:
Abridged Promotion Scroll, 3 points
Basic Promotion Scroll, 5 points
Revised Promotion Scroll, 9 points
Extended Promotion Scroll, 13 points
Advanced Promotion Scroll, 20 points
Each character above level 51 can only use each type of scroll once, so in total a character can gain 50 additional promotion points this way.
- When using a scroll for the first time, players will be shown You have successfully used the item and received bonus promotion points.
- When trying to use a scroll that has previously been used in that character, players will be shown You have already used an item of this type
Different levels of Bakragore's Burden influence the type of scroll that can be dropped from the fight. Starting with the Final Taint and no burden, which allows you to loot the Abridged Promotion Scroll, for each additional burden a new scroll becomes lootable, with the best scroll only being lootable by facing Bakragore with a 4th stage burden.
Furthermore, each combination of scrolls will produce a distinct sum of points, ensuring uniqueness. This is especially useful for identifying which scrolls a character has already utilized by examining its current bonus (particularly useful when characters are being sold in Character Auctions). Note: there is one exception to this rule, as 25 points can be obtained through two combinations.

History
Before July 25, 2023, it was possible to obtain some of the scrolls without the Final Taint. Therefore, some scrolls were available before this date.
