Expensive and hard to kill for low level knights, after Summer Update 2009 it is not strong against Physical Damage anymore but it is still not so easy to hunt because of combos for over 600 hitpoints.

An overcharged energy element attacks in melee range. An overcharged energy element never retreats.
Strategy
Attack it with melee and Whirlwind Throw, Berserk or even Fierce Berserk when more elementals come. Be careful and try to lure one at a time (move forward slowly, and when you see it run back few squares). Do the quest with friends - at least 3 people so one of you will break elemental's shielding to speed up killing. Remember to bring food, because they don't drop any food.
