Effect
Applies 8% Elemental Pierce in an area (4 sqm radius) for 16 seconds.
Notes
This spell is a side effect of the failed attempts to create a spell to counter Zarganash's draining effects and curses. While it proved to be too difficult to create a reliable shielding, the knowledge about the draining energies enabled the creation of this spell that somewhat mimics their effects. Sorcerers all over the known worlds embraced the new spell, though cautious voices warned about its untested nature, possible side effects and long term consequences of its continuous usage. Still some caution is applied and the spell is taught only to more experienced casters that are left on their own to decide when or where to apply this potentially dangerous spell, to make enemies more vulnerable to their attacks.
A creature that takes 90% damage from Death Damage will take 98% instead, while under the effect of this spell. If a creature is more than 100% sensitive to an element, the effect of Expose Weakness will be halved so 100% becomes 104% and 98% becomes 103%. However, if a creature is completely immune to an element, it will still be immune.
Creatures can only suffer from one instance of Expose Weakness at a time, which means that the effect cannot be stacked even if two or more sorcerers use it at the same time. This spell has no effect against other characters.
The center of the affected area is the target creature, or the caster if no target is set.

- With Winter Update 2025, its value was raised to 8%, and its effect is now respecting the same rules defined for Elemental Pierce.
