Website Backgrounds

Since the winter of 2007, the official website for Tibia, tibia.com, has featured a new background artwork with each major game update. Typically, these artworks are available in a resolution of 1,600 × 800 pixels. However, for the updates 8.70, 9.60, 10.30, 10.50, 10.80, 10.90, 10.94, 11.02, and 11.40, the artworks were also released to fansites in a higher resolution of 4,800 × 2,400 pixels, three times larger than the standard. This was done to highlight the details more clearly.
