IIRC, changing any template like this results in a tonne of entries into the job queue, which in turn creates a lot of work for my server. Would it not be best to just protect all heavily-utilised templates? --Erig 14:39, 10 May 2007 (PDT)
- I agree, we should protect all heavily-utilised templates and add something like "This template is protected. If you think something should be changed, use the talk page". I protected this template.

- Why can't I protect this page? When I click the confirm button, I get redirected back to Template:Spoiler, but it stills unprotected.

Transclusion
Hello,
Can somebody help me out, with the following: I want to add a category with this template, if the parameter on the quest page is set to yes. So I need to get the variable {{{transcripts|}}} from the page {{ {{{name|}}} }}. But I can't seem to find how to do this.. Maybe it's not possible? -- Bennie (talk ~ fellows) 12:59, May 13, 2012 (UTC)
Does the template not do this? Both What a Foolish Quest/Spoiler and What a Foolish Quest have categories. -- Sixorish 14:40, May 13, 2012 (UTC)
Ow, whoops, you are right. I overlooked it. -- Bennie (talk ~ fellows) 15:38, May 13, 2012 (UTC)
Removal of Spoiler
Any objections to remove
Spoiler
from the template? Seeing as how the entire article is focused on the spoiler, it is redundant and just limits us. For example, to be semantically correct our spoiler pages must start on h3 (because it belongs under the 2nd level subheader Spoiler), but rarely is this the case (An Uneasy Alliance Quest/Spoiler, Roshamuul Quest/Spoiler, A Father's Burden Quest/Spoiler, ...). We should start on h2 with Method or Transcripts or Required Equipment or Introduction, or anything that fits a given spoiler, but not Spoiler. -- Sixorish (talk) 07:43, February 24, 2014 (UTC)
No objections, good idea. -- Bennie (talk ~ fellows) 13:25, February 24, 2014 (UTC)
