What if some is color blind? Can't the % be moved to a line like it whas before? instead of having a color code that people only know if they read this page <sigh>
Kwigon the sharpshooter 00:49, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

People who are color blind see by the % value if it is weak or strong or immune.. bigger than 100 = weak, smaller than 100 = strong, 0 = immune.

The colors chosen for these are hard to read and they hurt my eyes. This new system seems way more complicated then the old "weak against"/"immune"/"strong against." -Elg

The colors are eye killing hopefully u can fix the template.

I don't like this new system. Old one was good.

Just to know, who decided we need and have to use this new system?

Daniel Letalis

NeWsOfTzzz i think I don't like this new sistem either, it's too complicated and messy. Camioneto 15:00, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

this new system is really annoying imo.. the old 1 was completely fine, and i could see right away the weakness/strongness etc Would be good if it were to be changed back Chrx 20:50, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

I was going to try to change it back to the previous, but i wanted to make sure people dislike this new sistem as well.

I think it's fine to change it :P (starting if somebody else agrees).

Dont undo anything, wait to see if it get better, read the other tal pages.

More specifically Template talk:Infobox Creature -- Sixorish 21:20, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

I prefer the old system. People will think that all monsters are strong against one element. Be sure that this encyclopedia is for give easy information for all people. And the colors are... ewww...

I prefer the old system but I dont mind so much about the new one so Im going to try and improve this page to make the description more clear to those who dont read the talk pages and such. Ill be greatful for any input which could be left here or on my talk page, as I wont have the time this weekend.

I thought about editing the 'introduction' as to what has changed from when there were no weaknesses and strengths. And then under "conversion part 1" which would have a more suitable name there would be an explanation as to what has changed between our 'old system' and the current one now concerning the damage modifiers. The examples which are currently under "conversion part 2" would be also changed to something like "If a creature is 90% strong against ice then the damage modifier will display 10%".

Under the next title which I feel should have a name like "how to calculate", there would be a brief explanation on how to and then taking a creature I would use its weaknesses and strengths as the examples. I dont know what could be added to the "available damage types". And Im not sure if the "special values for editors" part needs improvement.

What do people think about it? beejay 02:58, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

--- who decided we need and have to use this new system?

I mean if someone random decided it then anyone random including me can decide we have to go back and start undoing. Daniel Letalis

Erig decided it (about the technical system), although the layout may be changed, there will be a poll about it.

This new system is quite strange and complicated :/... Should be changed At least the colours.

User:Chonono

Aww, what is that??? -.- Isnt the freaking elemental system not complicated enough that you have to give us this puzzle now on each monster page?!!

Its weird, its confusing, PLEASE give us back the old information!!!

First: Immune to: (list), Strong against: (list with % ; everybody know to just subtract this % off the normal dmg!), Neutral to: (list), Weak against: (list with %)

PLEASE dont stick to this weird and confusing new format!!! >.<

Barathorn 19:15, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

"You don't know the value at all, use 100%?"

That's OK but for example wiki shows values like this on Ungreez:
Neutral To: Holy, Death, Fire, Earth, Drown, Life Drain
Strong To: Physical (-1%)

But it should show:
Neutral To: Holy?, Death?, Fire?, Earth?, Drown?, Life Drain?
Strong To: Physical (-1%?)

or maybe:
unknown To: Holy, Death, Fire, Earth, Drown, Life Drain
Strong To: Physical (-1%?)

The code is ok for people that understands it but the data showed on wiki is completly incorrect with the new system, if you decide to keep imposing this new pseudo-system at least don't make wiki display incorrect values for almost every monster

Erig, plz don't blow up all the hard work you have done over the years, you can wait some time while you or someone designs a real system.

Daniel Letalis: the template now places a question mark after strong/weaknesses to remove any "confusion" though I don't think the 1% would make that much difference. -- Sixorish 07:22, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

Sixorish u doing nice job

I think it should be nice to add "?" to "100%?" values

So Ungreez will look like this: Neutral To: Holy?, Death?, Fire?, Earth?, Drown?, Life Drain?

Because wiki doesn't know yet real values.

And a Vampire with well known values like this: Neutral To: Energy, Ice

I think adding those "?" should make the new system as good as the old one

Done -- Sixorish 12:33, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

Is this now needed?

Seeing most people chose to have the damages the old way, is this page really needed now? beejay 05:23, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
