The Guild Channel is a channel created exclusively for individual Guilds, which will take the guild's name. The guild channel opens automatically on login for players who are in a guild, but can be opened through the New Channel Dialog (press Ctrl+O or the Open New Channel button on the console) if closed. Leaders and Vice Leaders can invite and exclude non-members from the guild channel.
Features
- Leaders and Vice Leaders can include non-members.
- A guild message will be displayed in the channel when a player logs in (but not when they re-enter the chat after leaving).
- Leaders and Vice Leaders can edit the guild message by right-clicking the guild channel header and selecting Edit guild message, which opens an Edit Text Dialog. Guild messages can be deleted by erasing the message.
- All players in a guild will have the guild channel opened automatically when they log in.
- Notifications when a player enters the chat.
- Notifications when a player is invited successfully, only to the player inviting.
- Leaders and Vice Leaders are recognized by their orange text colour. Other members of the guild will have the same yellow colour as in other channels.
