A Cavebotter, also known as a botter, is a person who uses external/third-party programs or Macros to make his/her character automatically kill creatures, loot them, drink potions, and auto-heal. Common on all Tibia Worlds.
As with all macros, cavebotting is against Tibia Rules and can lead to a Banishment and possibly even an Account Deletion.
In January 2009, CipSoft introduced an automatic bot detection tool that has led to over 5000 account banishments on the start of each month since then. Now, Gamemasters do no longer banish botters manually.
