Bed Modification Kits could be used on regular beds (but not on Cots, Straw Mats or Hammocks) to give them a different colour and shape. They exist in canopy bed form and four colours: red, green, yellow, and blue. These kits were replaced by the headboard/footboard packages in November, 2019, when beds inside houses became movable.
These kits still exist in game, however, they are no longer available from NPCs, which means existing Kits are relatively rare items.
